Improving our health and mental well-being
Reducing inequalities
Creating a strong visitor economy
Protecting and enhancing our natural and built heritage
Building more affordable housing

It will also deliver a number of key transformational projects over the next 10 years including making Rossendale the gateway for adrenalin sport activities, regeneration in Rawtenstall and Bacup town centres and a new health campus in Rossendale.
The Sustainable Community Strategy has the backing of partners from the public, private and voluntary and community sector who will work closely together to deliver it.
