Get moving in the valley
Do you enjoy walking but prefer to walk in a group?
Would you like to get a little fitter?
Do you want to exercise and meet and socialise with new people?
Active Spaces Rossendale has lots of opportunities to get you moving. The project includes a range of walks, cycling and gentle exercise. Sessions are particularly focussed around having fun and are ideal for people who might not take part in regular exercise or perhaps would rather walk in a group than alone.
If you want to take part in the project you will just need to complete a short health questionnaire.
A regular walk takes place every Tuesday morning at 9:30am - Everyone is welcome. The venue and walk route changes each week, but it will take around an hour and is moderate. Please ring for more details - 07595778327
On Tuesday afternoons a ladies only group meets at the Main Gates of Victoria Park in Haslingden. For more information please call 01282 452381 / 07545 734361
On Thursday mornings at 10am you can take part in a pushchair walk. The walk takes about an hour. Please ring for more details - 07595778327.
If you are an existing group bespoke walking sessions can be set up for you.
