Rossendale Borough Council operate over 50 car parks with over 1100 off
street spaces across the borough and they are all free of charge.
Short
stay car parks are available in Rawtenstall and Waterfoot allowing a
maximum stay of 2 hours. The short stay car parks are controlled using
a Parking Disc.
Please note that during the winter months the
car parks are NOT treated in any way. Therefore, please use our car
parks with care when it is icy.
When using the short stay car
parks you must clearly display the Parking Disc showing your arrival
time. You can pick up a free disc from nearby shops, offices etc in
Rawtenstall and Waterfoot and at the One Stop Shop or Police Station in
Rawtenstall.
Enforcement of the car parks and streets in
Rossendale is carried out on behalf of Rossendale Council by NCP Civil Enforcement Officers, so please ensure you park in accordance with the
traffic regulations. If you need help the civil enforcement officers will be
glad to offer assistance.
