Do you or someone you know need a little bit of extra help to improve life?

Where would you go to get that help?

Help Direct is a new service for all adults in East Lancashire funded by Lancashire County Council.  We aim to be your first port of call to get access to the practical support, guidance and information you need to get the most out of life.

Help Direct knows how to get things done and who can do them. We're in touch with community groups, landlords, health services, Age Concern, Job Centers - people keen to help.

Take Frank for example...

Frank (39) works full time and cares for his mother. He needs to spend more time with her but cannot reduce his hours unless he gets further financial assistance.

Frank called Help Direct to find out who he could talk to. We told Frank about the Benefit Enquiry Line and how to contact them. We also provided information about Carers Contact who may be able to assist him further. He thanked Help Direct and said he appreciated the quick assistance that was offered him.

If you're an adult in Rossendale and you need help - Help Direct can help you. Some of you will have specific needs - some occasional needs.

Whatever your needs, there's a good chance we can help you. Call Help Direct 0303 333 1111
