Renewal - housing benefit: Outline
After your housing benefit has been assessed, it will remain continuous until your circumstances change. You no longer need to renew your claim every 12 months, the council has a system of interventions to check you are being paid the right amount.

Interventions will be:
a home visit to check that your details are correct.
a postal review form to check your details
a telephone call to check your details
