Request a Green Bin

What is this for?

To request a new or replacement green bin. Additional bins are not available to purchase, additional capacity is available to households with six or more permanent residents, please call 01706 217777 option 3 to apply for this.

What is it going to cost?

There is a delivery charge of £29.50 for replacement green bins.

Why is there a charge for a replacement green bin?

The charge has been introduced to cover the administration and delivery of replacement bins and is intended to encourage residents to take responsibility for the wheeled bins provided and to reduce demand for replacement containers.

What we need from you

When you are requesting a replacement bin you will need to provide us with the following information: your name, address, email address and reason for the request. Please note: the property should be occupied, bins are not delivered to empty properties. All bins remain the property of Rossendale Borough Council.  To stop your bins going missing please label the bin with the house number and street name and if possible keep them inside your property.

What you should expect from us

When you submit this form the collection contractor will be informed of the request. Bins are delivered within 30 working days.
