Co-opted Member of the Overview and Scrutiny Committee
Rossendale Council is inviting local people to apply to become a Co-opted Member on the Council’s Overview and Scrutiny Committee. This committee assists the Council in policy development, monitoring the performance of the Council, as well as scrutinising the quality of services to local people.
Applicants must not be employed by the council, be a member of the council or be disqualified from being a member of the authority. You should also be politically neutral to apply.
This is an unpaid role.

The appointment will be made by the council following consideration of all the applications received. The successful applicant will be required to comply with the Council’s Code of Conduct for members/co-opted members.
