If we cannot prevent homelessness, there are a number of options for rehousing and support in and around Rossendale which include:

Social Housing

Apply for a Housing Association Property at B-With-Us, once registered you can bid for properties or get properties without waiting via Available Now

The Guinness Partnership let their properties separately; Together Housing also let properties on their own website.

Supported Housing

M3 Project SafeSpace Stepping Stone are supported housing providers for people aged 16-21 in Rossendale; to be referred please contact Housing Options here

Petrus supported housing is available for people aged 18+, to be referred please contact Housing Options here

HAPI  are you homeless or at risk of becoming homeless?  Are you aged between 14-25 years old? If you think you are in danger of becoming homeless, you should get in touch with us and see how we can help you.    

  • We can support you to access housing that is right for you.
  • We can support you to manage your tenancy and help you to access Housing Benefit and any other benefits that you will need.
  • Our services include supporting families to improve their relationships that young people are less likely to become homeless.

Private Rents

One of the quickest ways to find alternative accommodation within Rossendale is to privately rent. Every Landlord has to give new tenants information about their rights How to Rent

The Council Bond Scheme may assist with the upfront costs of moving into a Private Rented Property, we may be able to help with a month’s rent in advance contact our team

If you are struggling to afford your rent Benefit Calculators will advise if you are likely to be given housing benefit or universal credit. 

If your Landlord will not fix a repair or you have damp problems please report this to our Environmental Health team using our online form.
