Community safety
We work with our partners in the Police, Fire and Rescue Service, other local authorities, housing associations, health service and community and voluntary organisations to reduce crime and disorder, reduce reoffending and combat the misuse of drugs, alcohol and other substances.
We are part of the Pennine Lancashire Community Safety Partnership covering Rossendale, Burnley and Blackburn with Darwen and we work with partners across Lancashire to make it a safe place to work, live and visit.
We support the Lancashire Community Safety Strategy Agreement 2016 – 2019:
