Terminating your Tenancy
If you already rent a garage and wish to terminate the tenancy you should give the required notice period in accordance with your tenancy agreement in writing.
In accordance with their agreement Tenant's are reminded that at the end of the Tenancy the Tenant shall forthwith vacate the Garage, remove all equipment and other belongings from the Garage ensure the leave the Garage Structure in good and tenantable repair or remove the Garage in it's entirety leaving the plot in good and tenantable repair. On failure to do so the Council may enter the Premises and restore them to a tenantable condition and the cost thereof shall be recoverable from the Tenant as if this was rent outstanding.
Assigning your Tenancy
If you are looking to transfer your garage to someone else then the appropriate form can be found here: https://www.rossendale.gov.uk/downloads/download/11093/garage_forms. This form is required for us to process garage transfers.
