The current Mayor of Rossendale
Councillor Liz McInnes is the Mayor of Rossendale 2026-27. Mr Steve Duxbury is the Consort and will usually accompany the Mayor on engagements.
Councillor McInnes is the elected councillor for the Longholme Ward and was confirmed as Mayor at the Annual Council meeting on 22nd May 2026.

Mayor’s charity fund
Each year, the Mayor of Rossendale raises money for local charities through collections and organised events.
This year the Mayor of Rossendale will be raising funds for:
- Rossendale Hospice
- M3 Project
- Rossendale & Pendle Mountain Rescue
- Other Local Charities
To make a donation to the Mayor’s Charity Fund please contact the Mayor’s Office.
To apply for a donation from the fund, please write to the Mayor’s Office. The letter should include details of your organisation and a brief description of how you will use the donation.
