Rossendale Borough Council declared a Climate Emergency in September 2019 and as part of this commitment, we aim to achieve net zero carbon emissions for our own cooperate activities by 2030.
Since declaring a Climate Emergency, we have implemented a range of measures to reduce our carbon footprint. We are also working in partnership with local communities and businesses to reduce carbon emissions in the Borough.
