If we cannot prevent homelessness, there are a number of options for rehousing and support in and around Rossendale which include:

Private Rents

One of the quickest ways to find alternative accommodation within Rossendale is to privately rent. Every Landlord has to give new tenants information about their rights How to Rent

If you are homeless or threatened with homelesness the Council's Bond and Rent in Advance Scheme may be able to assist with a payment to your new Landlord if you are claiming or will be claiming Universal Credit or Housing Benefit in your new home. To see if you qualify for help with a Bond or Rent in Advance complete the enquiry form

If you are struggling to afford your rent you can use the Benefit Calculator to check if you are likely to receive help through Housing Benefit or Universal Credit.

Social Housing

Apply for a Housing Association Property at B-With-Us, once registered you can bid for properties across Rossendale, Blackburn with Darwen, Burnley, Hyndburn and Pendle.

As well as advertising through B-with-us The Guinness Partnership and Together Housing also operate there own schemes to advertise and let properties in and outside of Rossendale.

Supported Housing

The M3 Project, Safe Space and Stepping Stone are supported housing providers for people aged 16-25 in Rossendale. If you would like to be referred please complete the enquiry form
