14/06/24 - The Council has received representations from various statutory consultees regarding the H66 Masterplan & Design Code (V4) which can be viewed by clicking the following links; Historic England, Lead Local Flood Authority, Bury Development Management Team, Environment AgencyLancashire County Council School Provision & Sufficiency Team, National Highways, The Coal Authority, Lancashire County Council HighwaysGrowth Lancashire and United Utilities.

10/06/24 - The consultation on the H66 Masterplan & Design Code (V4) closed at 09:00 on Monday 10th June

 

May 2024

08/05/24 - The Council has received Version 4 of the Masterplan & Design Code in association with Housing Allocation H66 of the Adopted Rossendale Local Plan. The latest Masterplan and Design Code (V4) can be downloaded here.

A consultation on the latest Masterplan (V4) will run until 09:00 on Monday 10th June. Representations on this version of the Masterplan & Design Code (V4) can be made by sending an email to forwardplanning@rossendalebc.gov.uk or by sending a letter to Forward Planning Team, Rossendale Borough Council, Business Centre, Futures Park, Bacup, OL13 0BB.

07/11/23 - The consultation on the Revised Masterplan (V3) closed at 17:00 on Monday 6th November

 

September 2023

28/09/23 - The Council has received a Further Amended Masterplan & Design Code (V3) in association with Housing Allocation H66 of the Adopted Rossendale Local Plan. The Revised Masterplan and Design Code (V3) can be downloaded here.

A consultation on the Revised Masterplan will run until 17:00 on Monday 6th November. Representations on this version of the Masterplan & Design Code (V3) can be made by sending an email to forwardplanning@rossendalebc.gov.uk or by sending a letter to Forward Planning Team, Rossendale Borough Council, Business Centre, Futures Park, Bacup, OL13 0BB. 

The Council has also received a Table of the Developers' Responses to the Council's Comments on the previous iteration of the Masterplan & Design Code (V2). This Table of Responses can be downloaded here.

14/08/23 - The consultation on the Revised Masterplan & Design Code (V2) has now closed. Thank you for your representations.

 

July 2023

28/07/23 - The consultation period was further extended until 17:00 on Friday 11th August.

 

June 2023

23/06/23 - Following the receipt of the additional highways information (downloadable via the links below), the consultation period was extended until 09:00 on Monday 31st July.

22/06/23 - The Council received a Highways Consideration of Masterplan Note and higher resolution version of the Market Street Corridor Improvement Plan.

16/06/23 - The Council received an Amended Masterplan & Design Code for Housing Allocation H66 (V2).

A consultation was conducted on the above documents, the responses to which can be found here. This consultation started on Friday 16th June 2023 and ran until 17:00 on Friday 14th July 2023 (this was extended)

 

May 2023

The consultation responses recevied by the Council on Taylor Wimpey's Masterplan and Design Codes (V1) have been published here: Part 1 & Part 2.

 

January 2023

The consultation on the Masterplan and Design Codes (V1) from Taylor Wimpey closed on Tuesday 17th January 2023. Representations were recorded and considered, and representations recorded were made publically available in February 2023.

 

December 2022

The consultation on the Masterplan and Design Codes (V1) from Taylor Wimpey was extended by 2 weeks until Tuesday 17th January 2023.

The Council received a revised Masterplan and Design Codes from Taylor Wimpey in association with planning application 2022/0451 - A Proposed Development For The Erection Of 238 No. Residential Dwellings And All Associated Works, Including New Access, Landscaping And Public Open Space Within Housing Allocation H66 Of The Adopted Rossendale Local Plan.

The Masterplan and Design Code was amended to:

  • Remove Peel Land and Property's logo from the cover / introduction;
  • Make it clear that Peel Land and Property did not input into the document; and
  • Correct a small number of typing errors.

The consultation was initially scheduled to run until Tuesday 3rd January 2023 (this was later extended), and the Council invited comments and representations on the Masterplan and Design Codes which can be accessed here.

 

November 2022

The Council received a Masterplan and Design Code from Taylor Wimpey (V1) in association with planning application 2022/0451 - A Proposed Development For The Erection Of 238 No. Residential Dwellings And All Associated Works, Including New Access, Landscaping And Public Open Space Within Housing Allocation H66 Of The Adopted Rossendale Local Plan.
