Rossendale’s business expo will open at 10am on Tuesday 10th June to showcase 35 different Valley businesses
Building of the success of last year's event at The Whitaker in Rawtenstall, organisers have relocated the expo to Rossendale Borough Council’s Council Chamber at Futures Park, Bacup.
As well as offering a larger open space with all exhibitors now in the same location, the location offers free parking.
Rossendale Means Business is organised by digital marketing agency GrowTraffic in collaboration with Rossendale Borough Council and business advisor Jane Pallister from Boommm Consultancy.
Grow Traffic Director Rachel Weinhold said: “We are pleased to announce our gold sponsor is Interfloor from Haslingden, and we have two silver sponsors Valley Carpets Valley Blinds and Olive Branch Fostering, both based in Rawtenstall.
“We are also having magician, King of Aces, who will be performing magic tricks to bring stallholders together encouraging them to do business with each other and he will also be keeping the delegates entertained.”
Four local food vendors will be offering sweet and savoury delights; all exhibitors receive a lunch voucher and there will also be food available for delegates to buy.
Exhibitors represent all sizes all sizes of business, small, medium, large and also sole traders.
A break out room will be used for seminars on different aspects of business with titles: How to grow your business with AI; How recognition will increase your revenue, and Are you protecting your future or just paying the bills?
Erin Dempsey, GrowTraffic Director, as well as helping to organise the event runs her own performance business Hyde Artists and will be singing during the Expo.
Although all the exhibitors are from Rossendale, the expo is being supported by Lancashire Business View, The Federation of Small Businesses and East Lancashire Chamber of Commerce.
The organisations are promoting the event and encouraging businesses from outside of the Valley to attend to see what opportunities there are to work collaboratively with Rossendale companies.
