This March, Rossendale’s Year of Sport shines the spotlight on the Rossendale Triathlon Club, and encourages residents to give triathlons a try.
This month, the focus of our Year of Sport turns to the triathlon, celebrating the Rossendale Triathlon Club and the dedicated community of athletes at its heart. Our Sport in the Valley campaign continues to highlight local clubs and encourage residents of all ages to get involved in physical activity.
A community of endurance and support
Tucked in the heart of the valley, the Rossendale Triathlon Club brings together a vibrant mix of athletes who share a passion for swimming, cycling, and running. Open to adults aged 18 and over, the club welcomes everyone, from complete beginners to seasoned triathletes, who want to challenge themselves, get fitter, and have fun doing it.
What sets Rossendale Triathlon Club apart is its inclusive and supportive ethos. Whether you’re lacing up for your first sprint triathlon or chasing a new personal best at an Ironman, you’ll find training partners who cheer you on every step (or pedal stroke) of the way.
Training with a difference
At its core, Rossendale Triathlon Club believes sport should be fun, friendly, and accessible. It’s about more than just crossing finish lines - it’s about building confidence, friendships, and a shared love of endurance sport.
If you’ve ever thought about trying a triathlon or simply want to get more active in a motivating group environment, there’s no better place to start!
