Common Unactionable Tree Problems
Almost all of the tree teams work falls within the urgent and essential categories. Where the risk of harm from a tree is lower than 1/10k over the following 12 months the Council are unable to undertake works. A number of common tree problems that fall within this category are listed below;
- trees considered too large
- overhanging private property
- roots entering broken drains
- blocking natural light
- blocking views
- blocking radio, TV and satellite signal
- blocking solar panels / shedding leaves, pollen or blossom
- shedding fruit, berries or nuts
- producing sap
- bird droppings
- presence of wildlife or insects
- interference with power cables or telephone lines
- personal medical issues related to trees
