The UK Shared Prosperity Fund (UKSPF) is a Government Fund. For the 14 districts of Lancashire, the UKSPF is administrated by the Lancashire County Combined Authority.
The UKSPF has been running since the financial year 2022/23, with an additional year being announced for the 2025-26 financial year. The Fund sets out the Government’s five national Missions, which are mapped into the existing priorities below with a specific focus on the Government’s foremost Mission to kickstart economic growth.
The three investment priorities are:
- Communities and Place
- Support for Local Business
- People and Skills

Wyre continues to build on the delivery of its investment plan, identified in consultation with Wyre’s Town Centre Partnership boards, the public and organisations who delivering county-wide initiatives, to deliver a further year’s programme supporting local business and communities across the borough with a focus on economic centres.
