Corporate Peer Challenge
In November 2021 the council had a Corporate Peer Challenge undertaken by a team from the Local Government Association. This examined how well the council is performing.

The council responded positively to the challenge and were pleased the team acknowledged the council’s track record of achievement over a number of years and its ambition for the future. We produced an action plan in response to the recommendations from the peer challenge, which can be found by clicking on the link below
In August 2022 the LGA revisited Rossendale and produced a progress report on our implementation of their recommendations, which can be found by clicking on the link below
