Green general waste bin
Things that can go in your green bin are:
- Food waste
- Non-recyclable items
- Plastic carrier bags and other non-recyclable plastics
- Disposable nappies
Things that can't go in your green bin are:
- Any items that can go into your recycling bins i.e. paper in your grey bin and plastic bottles in your blue bin
- Any electrical items
- Hazardous waste e.g. asbestos, car batteries and oil
- DIY items such as builders waste and rubble
We offer a bulky collection service for items too big to go in your bin or you can take them for free to the tip.
