History
Worsley Park in Haslingden evolved from the historic 19th-century grounds of the neighbouring Carter Place Hall estate, the home of the prominent local Worsley family. When the land transitioned from a private estate into a public asset for the surrounding textile communities, it was named to honour the family's legacy.
